The game is played with four players or teams of players depending on the number of people. You will receive a colored playing piece that matches the patient profile card you get that will give you the starting information of the patient. You will proceed through the board by rolling a four sided die landing on colored squares to draw and event the patient may go through in that life stage. In order to pass the next life stage the player will need to answer a challenge card correctly. Once through all three stages the first player to the final event will get to choose their patients final event (i.e. remission). By the end of the game all players with have a card sheet that will display the events their patient has gone through while dealing with their disease.
