Studying abroad in France was a fantastic experience! With that experience I was able to take a ton of great pictures of the places that I visited and the structures that I learned about in my Architectural History class. Using some of these photos I created a deck of cards
Some of the facts used on the cards:
•The Eiffel Tower is painted every 7 years.
•There’s only one STOP sign in the entire city of Paris.
•To this day the ‘Pope’s Palace’ has a wall that surrounds the city of Avignon.
•The arrow slits were built to accommodate the archers who launched arrows using the short bow, the crossbow and the longbow.
•The famous Pont d’Avignon was constructed in the 17 century.
•The Catacombs in Paris is located 20 metres below the streets and is constantly 14ºC.
