Playing Cards

Studying abroad in France was a fantastic experience! With that experience I was able to take a ton of great pictures of the places that I visited and the structures that I learned about in my Architectural History class. Using some of these photos I created a deck of cards.

Some of the facts used on the cards:

  • The Eiffel Tower is painted every 7 years.

  • There’s only one STOP sign in the entire city of Paris.

  • To this day the ‘Pope’s Palace’ has a wall that surrounds the city of Avignon.

  • The arrow slits were built to accommodate the archers who launched arrows using the short bow, the crossbow and the longbow.

  • The famous Pont d’Avignon was constructed in the 17 century.

  • The Catacombs in Paris is located 20 metres below the streets and is constantly 14ºC.
